The Youth of Today was here to help young people make a positive difference to society.
The Youth of Today is no longer in operation. However, when we were (between 2009 and 2011), we offered:
- Leadership roles – Giving young people power to act on the issues you care about.
- Training – Providing young people with the skills you need to lead the way.
- Networking – Allowing young people to collaborate with peers and those in power.
The Youth of Today was created to help young people be leaders of change in an increasingly complex world. Read more about the history of The Youth of Today, why we needed it, and what we meant by youth leadership.
It was managed by a range of leading organisations. They were: The National Youth Agency (NYA), Changemakers, The Young Foundation, UK Youth Parliament, Citizenship Foundation, British Youth Council, and The Prince’s Trust.
