What would make your perfect job?

Excitement? A real challenge? Knowing you’re making a difference to people’s lives?

With The Youth of Today, we offered enthusiastic, committed and inspiring young people the job of a lifetime.

Starting in December 2010, they began an 18 month apprenticeship in Youth Work, working within a youth and community organisation and alongside one of our consortium organisations.

They got straight into key projects, learning new skills, and shaping a career path that works for them.

We also ensured that their apprenticeship resulted in a recognised qualification, boosting their future employability.

Thirteen months on and our apprentices are just finishing their NVQ in Youth Work and they will be continuing to work with their placements until May 2011.
