College Work Galore!

The Joys of College Work

Well, I have been sitting in the Citizenship Foundation Office banging out my College assignments!

Wow, it is a lot of work, I am pretty sure I have written more words today than I have in my whole life! (Maybe a slight over exaggeration) But I am enjoying it and I have to say it is pretty satisfying busting out a couple of thousand words, so all is good. Thing is, no college next week for Easter, and I am away in Slovakia the next week (so excited), which is the deadline. So I gotta get it all done!

Apprenticeship Bonanza

Yo,

I'm Josh and I have recently started my apprenticeship with the youth of today, this is actually my first ever blog, so, I will try and make it as interesting as possible! This is a brief overview of what I have been getting up to…

Anyways, I have started going college on Friday afternoons doing and NVQ in Youth Work, my tutor Jeni is a bit of a ledge! We get to play a lot of games, and get involved in role play, as you can imagine it is pretty jokes! So, it is quite a ‘hands on’ active course, I highly recommend it!

A Day Shadowing In The Kerrang Offices..

Hey!

It's Christiee & Sharna!

Today we went to the Kerrang! offices in Birmingham to shadow the people working at the radio station.

I, Christiee, shadowed Jo Godfrey, who is the producer of the adverts. She also makes all the sponsorship and promotions audio for their amazing giveaways!

I had an immense time with Jo, and even recorded my own advert about chlamydia testing! I learnt so much about how adverts are made, and even sat in on a voiceover recording.

Should we take tips from X factor for politics?

Last night, I along with 19 million others tuned in to watch Joe McElderry beat Olly in the X Factor final. I am unashamedly obsessed with the x factor and was glued to the series for the last 3 months obsessing over cheryl's latest outfit and Jedwards craziest performances, not to mention Louis' rule book.

So, the streamers are up, the cakes are out and the office is buzzing like a group of anxious children awaiting their birthday. Today is the Citizenship Foundation's 20th anniversary and like any other birthday we are celebrating with a good party this evening at the Law Society.
