Today The Youth of Today campaign brings you the fourth of our series of five short films. The films have been made by our young film maker, Rufai Ajala, and capture the stories of young people leading others in their community.

Rhea Cattell - The Young Foundation Youth Leadership Team member

Rhea Cattell, 17, Joined the Young Foundation Youth Leadership Team after being encouraged by a closed friend. Rhea has gained interpersonal and leadership skills. She is now encouraging other young people to  get involved and make a change to their community.

Sean Ochinanike - The Young Foundation Youth Leadership Team Member

Sean Ochinanaike, 21, struggled at school. Education left him feeling that he was unable to achieve anything in life. Being part of The Youth of Today leadership team has allowed Sean to grow in confidence and improve his interpersonal and leadership skills. Sean would now like to motivate other young people to follow in his footsteps. He has set up his own social enterprise which aims to unlock potential and raise the aspirations of young people.

The Prince's Trust Youth Advisory Group - Hayleigh Jarrett

Hayleigh Jarrett left school at a very early age. After struggling to live by herself, she lost all hope when it came to her education. After completing The Prince’s Trust 12-week self-development programme, Team, Hayleigh has regained her confidence and is now back in college and volunteering her time to help others.

The Prince's Trust Youth Advisory Group - Steven Hardie

Steven Hardie from Scotland, left school at the age of 16. Steven felt really depressed and started self-harming. After enrolling onto The Prince’s Trust Team Programme, Steve found a new direction in life. Now Steve works as a part-time youth worker and is eager to help and mentor young people who may be going through similar problems.

Chris Redford has managed to turn his life around after suffering from depression and drug addiction. Now Chris has successfully been able to regain his confidence and self esteem. He is now in full time employment and likes to give back to the community through volunteering.

Prince's Trust Youth Advisory Group - Foday Camara

Foday Camara is a Young Ambassador for The Prince’s Trust. Foday used to be in constant trouble with the police and in and out of prison. Now, Foday has managed to turn his life around and is able to lead others by sharing his experiences with other young people.

Prince's Trust Youth Advisory Group - Amy Ransom

Amy Ransom turned her life around after taking part on The Prince’s Trust Team programme. She has been able to regain her confidence and now has a new direction in life. Amy is part of the Youth Advisory Group and is always a great contributor of ideas when it comes to bringing about positive change.
