The Youth of Today has carried out a programme to research youth leadership around the world.

We've carried out research into international best practice in youth leadership and have produced three major publications on youth leadership. 

Our first publication, which uses case studies of international organisations to explore the theory and practice of youth leadership, is available here.

Our second publication, which explored digital technologies as tools for youth empowerment, is available here. We launched this at Google on the 8th of September 2010. Video of Tim Loughton, Parliamentary Under Secretary for Children and Families, speaking at the event is here.

Our third publication explores young people’s transitions into the world of work. A team of young journalists led this work with us and conducted peer research exploring the topic.
